  • About The Space
The Cottage can sleep up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms one with a king size bed and the other with a queen size bed. (Comfortable inflatable bed available upon request). The Cottage comes equipped with a modern kitchen with stainless kitchen appliances, a full sized bathroom, washer and dryer, and a jaw dropping view of the Chugach and Talkeetna mountain ranges. If you need to stay connected for business, or want to show your family how awesome a time you are having we also provide high speed internet. There is a furnished outdoor patio, gas barbecue, and central fire pit located outside where you can enjoy Alaska's uncommonly long summer sunsets. Or if you visit in the winter and bring warm clothes you may be treated to a Northern Lights display.
  • Summer Stays
When you visit in the Summer, local activities abound. There are many ecotourism type establishments, fishing charters (Salmon, Halibut, World Class Steelhead), mountain bike/ski trailed, and nearby hiking in Hatcher Pass which offers some of the easiest access to rugged mountains you will find. There are also various animal observation tours and farms where you may see whales, bears, sea lions, otters, migratory birds on their trip north, musk oxen, Caribou, mountain and dall sheep to name a few of the possibilities. Or, if you are tired from doing all that, you can relax on the patio and rest while you grill your favorite dinner and enjoy a sunset that turns into dawn while alpenglow shines on the Chugach range.
  • Winter Stays
In Winter there are nordic ski trails at the Government Peak Recreation and Hatchers Pass less than 10 minutes away. Additionally, there are unlimited backcountry skiing opportunities in Hatcher pass and a hopefully soon-to-be community ski lift. Ice climbing opportunities abound in the local area as well. Some are roadside, and the others require hike/ski in access. If the views from the patio aren’t grand enough, there are several nearby trailheads providing a range of mild to strenuous routes to the tops of our surrounding mountains for even more incredible views of the Mat-Su Valley. Winter adds an austere beauty that will certainly capture your attention and imagination.
